Rocio Diaz
Hi, I am Rocio Diaz, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California. I am married and I have two teenage sons. We also have three dogs and we live in Chula Vista Ca. Most of my professional experience has been working with children, adolescent, and families. Working with these populations has been very rewarding because as a mother of two, I understand the barriers and fears that parents can face before, during, and after seeking treatment for their kids. Since my clients are primarily children, my philosophy is to work closely with their parents. I have learned that collaborating with the parents and the family as a whole; can greatly improve a child’s quality of life. My approach to counseling is behavior-focused. My specialties are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT and TF-CBT), Attachment Therapy, and Play Therapy.
